It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The believer will never have enough of listening to good things (seeking knowledge) until he reaches Paradise.”

Hafsa Asghar

Alhamdulillah, I am finding the learning experience so enjoyable. The Revert Channel website is so easy to navigate, with clear step by step instructions.
I have spent years testing new websites, looking for bugs glitches etc.I can't believe this site is so streamlined, right from launch day. It is a dream to navigate Alhamdulillah. So extremely well thought out, simple and fun. I think this tops many other online learning courses, and is leading the way in userbility and design, making the learning experience pleasurable and intuitive.

The content is refreshing and so relevant. I have learned about the real meaning of Taqwa, how to implement it into my daily life and already feeling a deeper connection to Allah SWT, and a strengthening of my deen. Subhanallah.

I love the courses! I finished the 1st course and I found it so comforting and lovely.

It made me feel so loved and I truly enjoyed the meditation. I physically benefited from that. I actually saw a white light and my back pain that I had for weeks stopped SubhanAllah..I am so happy. ☺️

JazakAllahu Khairan for making this beautiful program ❤️ I was so touched by knowing how much Allah SWT loves me. I often think my enunciation isn’t good enough or I feel embarrassed that I’m not trying hard enough

The way you defined it takes a clearer view of the meaning of Taqwa - Protection of our self in regards to the way we live our lives and seeking the Protection of Allah SWT, Hence being mindful of our actions in every way right down to our thoughts - hence Mindfulness !

MashaaAllah, this is what all the Gurus in the transformational realm teach! This makes so much sense that the all the teachings stem from Mindfulness - the foundation of our Deen. Looking forward to learning more from you! Jazak Allah Khair

Marilu Werner - Fernandes

Founder of The Revert Channel

As-salamu alaykum! I’m Marilu, a revert from Berlin, Germany. The Revert Channel was born as a place to connect, support, and inspire other revert sisters. It is a place of solace. A place to learn. A place to connect as a community.

As a revert myself I know the journey can be lonely and hard, although it's a great blessing. But as we are reminded in the Qur’an, with hardship comes ease. Alhamdulillah.

I was raised in a family where religion was not practiced, although I felt I had a strong connection to God from an early age.

At 23 I moved to London and met many Muslims, my flatmate in Uni was a Muslim. Ma shaa Allah. I began to have a lot of Muslim friends, and I loved how they praised God for whatever aspects of life they faced.

My friend invited me to her wedding in Morocco. At that moment my heart opened to Islam.

A few days after her wedding I had this turning moment, sitting in a taxi, I started to cry, overwhelming feelings about my life and how I was living. In my heart, I knew the time was now, and I wanted to take my shahada, which I did the very next day, Alhamdulillah.

If you need any help, please, do get in touch, and have a look in our forum to connect with other like-minded sisters.

What other sisters are saying about

The Revert Channel

I absolutely love the community that Marilu has created at The Revert Channel. It's such a beautiful supportive place for new reverts to share any struggles and learn more after they take their shahada. I feel blessed to have found you.

I learnt about The Revert Channel through Marilu's Revert Journey Facebook page. Ever since reverting to Islam a couple of years ago, I have struggled to learn how to pray. Learning how to correctly pronounce the words in Arabic, and gettng the steps in the correct order was overwhelming to me. I took advantage of the prayer instruction course given by sister Hannah, and it helped me tremendously, Alhamdulillah. I'm so grateful for Marilu and The Revert Channel for the support and guidance I will continue to receive on my journey.

I was on The Revert Channel last night and it is amazing! There is so much information and so many videos to watch. I loved your "coming to Islam" video. The site is much needed for reverts. You are doing a great job sis. May Allah, SWT, reward you immensely for your efforts, Ameen.
