Reliance on Him alone

The last few weeks I have made it a habit to take a pause many times throughout the day and take a big deep breath. A way to recentre myself and remind myself of the One that I am completely reliant on. Alhamdulillah for Allah and His presence in my life. 

The thing is, we are all going through struggles, ups, and downs. Whether that be physical, emotional, deen-based, or Dunya. The only One constant that we can totally rely on is our trust in Him.

When is it that you turn to Him? Is it in times of difficulty or ease? Truth be said, most of us (my hand is raised) tend to turn to Him when life gets tough. But how often do we keep that reliance on the Almighty when the load eases, and our troubles subside?

Allah is there for you every step of your journey. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly. He is the Only One who we can truly rely on. The Only One who will not leave your side. The Only One who is listening when you turn to Him in the middle of the night. Praising Him, thanking Him, seeking His forgiveness, advice, or direction. 

Life is full of mixed emotions. Full of people who will come and go. Who will hurt you and love you. Know that Allah is by your side, holding your hand through every step.
